What a Night?

Well....I am exhausted and I just got home from an event we like to call Midnight Madness. I have homework that needs to be done and sleep that I need to get through the day tomorrow however I am still racing a little from the evenings events. So I figured why not blog. I do not have much to say except it was a fun night and I think it went well. It was awesome to see the skills that God has blessed many with. The other and most of you would agree much more important reason is what is below. I am sure you all have been asking yourselves, what happened to the Legit Rappers? Well they are back with their fourth Official Music Video and this time they call themselves Jay Z and Linkin Park. So here it is.....

High Flying Weekend

Well.....this weekend myself and Ms. Hill Kell enjoyed a Saturday of shopping and beach going. Friday started off the weekend early with all classes being canceled due to power outages. Friday night we were able to go out to dinner with Hillary's parents at Ooka and I enjoyed a New York Steak. This was a nice evening but was overshadowed with the postponement of the Fortuna Bowl. Saturday was very enjoyable as myself and Hillary walked around Victoria Gardens and went into many stores. After returning to campus we then traveled to Huntington Beach with Jon and Whitney and flew kites on the beach. The kites were purchased at the 99⊄ store which saved money and made it a very fun afternoon. Pictures will be posted shortly. THe night did not look exactly like the picture. After we went to dinner at Ruby's on the pier. If you have not eaten here you should definitely put it on your to do list, the view is awesome and the food is also very good, and dessert is a must with the different kinds of shakes available. After Ruby's we walked down main street and went into a few stores one of which was American Apparel and I found that store to be very interesting. High priced items although they are not made in sweatshops which is what part of the big appeal of this store is. And of course Sunday was a good day at church and relaxing in the afternoon.

Photoshop Fun

Well....When I don't have much going on or just want to relax I either read or get on my computer and open up Photoshop. I enjoy just messing around with different photo's and trying out new effects on them. I do realize that my skills are limited and not up to par with what you may be used to seeing on other's blogs.

New Look New Name

Well....As you can see the page you are on is a lot different than you may be used to. I changed up the template as well as the colors. I also have been wanting a new blog name other than the one I used to have which I will not speak of anymore. I asked for my readers help in coming up with a new name and either nobody reads this thing or nobody had any ideas. I did receive help from one faithful reader, Jeremy. Although I did not choose to go with the name he suggested I appreciate the support. I chose to call my blog Eccentric Examinations of the Heart. Many of you are probably wondering why I would title my blog with this phrase. Don't worry because my blog will not change in the content of my blog although it has a much more awesome name and a slightly more serious sounding name the reason I like that name so much is that I never actually examine the heart through this blog. Although I am eccentric at times and I may even choose to attempt to examine the heart this will not be the main focus of my posts. Also I need to highlight a friend of mine who has recently started a blog and you should click over on my friends list on Adam and check it out. He is already famous through my blog as one of the two Legit Rappers. Until next time always be checking back for more posts as well as videos. .

The All New Leopard

Well....I hope everyone enjoyed the video. I am still looking and thinking of a new name for my Blog. If anybody who reads this thing has any ideas please let me know. On October 26th, 2007 an event that will change the computing world forever will take place. This event is the unveiling and release of Apple's new operating system Leopard. This OS will reshape the way that computer's run but specifically the way that Mac computers operate. Just a few of the new features of this OS are Spaces, Time Machine, and the new Desktop look. Of course these are just a few of the major changes but each program will run differently with the new OS and each will have new features. This will bring more people into the Mac family and will boost sales on Apple products because many people have been waiting and holding out to purchase any Mac computers until this OS came out. Stocks are gonna change. Get a head start on the market.

Lil' Mama and Avril Lavigne

Well....First Let me just tell you all about a possum hunting experience that I had last night. Myself and my roommate Stevie went possum hunting. We used spear's for fishing to help us hunt the possum. Do not worry we did not use the spears on the possum although I was ready if I needed to. Once we cornered it and caught it in a trash can we carried it around for some time trying to figure out what to do with it and we eventually let it go off campus. There was a video on a cell phone which I am trying to get to my computer so if that happens I will gladly share it with all of my faithful readers. But until then here is Installment #3 of Adam and Zach, this time performing as Lil' Mama and Avril Lavigne Remix.

Fres-Yes

Well...I know I haven't been around but I have good excuses. This weekend I returned home to the NO. It was extra special heading home this weekend because it was with Tim(Tex), Ryan(Bodfish), Myself(Fasa) and my roommate from my freshman year Jared(Rufio). It was great reminiscing with the guys about freshmen year and just chilling having fun. On Saturday we went Frolfing at Woodward Park. This was an awesome time of hanging out and of course because I won so that makes it a lot better. Saturday night I was able to go to my little brother's football game which was awesome. They won by a large margin so it was really enjoyable to see. And then on Sunday on our way home because of a ferocious fire on Interstate 5 we were delayed slightly. But we played a fun game of Desert Storm. We were very hot sweaty and tired at the end of it but it helped pass the time while we sat in traffic. All in all it was a good weekend.

Pictures!

Sorry for the lack of posting yesterday but the internet was down during my usual posting time. While I was gawking at Trever's blog I decided I need to post some pictures, lot's of friends have their blogs for pictures so here are some that I have taken on either my old Minolta film camera or my Canon Powershot that is no longer in working condition. Eventually I hope to upgrade to a nicer camera but for now this is what we work with.

Anything Lookadoo, I Can Do Better!

Well....First I just thought of the awesome old commercials with Mia Hamm and Michael Jordan. A fun fact about Mia Hamm is that she is married to All-Star baseball player Nomar Garciaparra. Those commercials were awesome and I don't know why they ever take commercials like that off the air. This post does not contain a music video like the ones featured below.
This morning I was reading a book with my good friend Justin. The book was titled Chat Room Chatter: The Buzz on Prom Dates, Superheroes & the Universe at Large written by Justin Lookadoo. Now this book contained some very interesting questions posed to the writer, Lookadoo, and then written below the question are his responses. Now aside from his responses, the questions chosen to be included in the book were very interesting choices. For example one question posed in the book by a reader was "Is it okay to flirt with stuffed animals?" Now if you are thinking what I was first thinking when I heard the question I ask you to not close out of your web browser. His answer may have been more surprising then the question itself. "Yes it's a little weird but it's perfectly normal, I did." Now I am not too sure about you growing up but I never flirted with a stuffed animal. But all this to say it got me thinking and if Lookadoo can write a book and get it published than I could do it and hopefully sell more copies. I actually started writing a book about two years ago and got about 2 chapters finished and than I quit writing and it was erased when my old PC crashed. So this may have inspired me to start writing a book again. At this point in time I don't think I have the time but it is something to think about.

Installment #2

Well...I wanted to write a very deep and intellectual blog but I am not ready for that quite yet, but possibly this weekend will come the very intriguing and thought provoking blog of the month. But until then I have a few things to cover. First I just wanted to say how much I enjoy the cool weather and waking up to a delightful cup of coffee that warms my body as I walk to work in the morning. Not a whole lot better the cool crisp morning breeze into my nostrils. Second I must say I enjoy driving by myself at night, to no particular destination listening to music or driving in silence. Both are bring about thoughts and prayers as I travel on Freeway 91 through Corona looking at the lights that illuminate the night sky and the cross lit up on the side of the hill to the side of the freeway. Third and for most of you the reason you are reading this is the second installment of the official music videos done by Zach Bowman and Adam Cook. Please enjoy the following video and always check back for more.

I Need a Name

Well, Gene recently changed the title of his blog. Since reading about that I have been thinking about how I need a good title. Because my title now was the first thing that came to mind and I never actually confess anything. So I need some help from all of my faithful readers. Please leave a comment or somehow give me some good ideas for a new title. Here are some ideas: Insanity is Relative, Discombobulated Discussions, Eccentric Examinations of the Heart. These are just a few ideas that came to mind while writing this. So put your vote in now. And please submit your own ideas so that maybe one day you can say that title was my idea. You can tell your grandchildren fifty years down the road about how you were the one who named this infamous blog. And if you have a few minutes to spare please watch this video which is hilarious.

P.E.A.C.E.

Quickly I must say that Phil Wickham's CD Cannons is awesome. I received it yesterday afternoon in the mail and what a delight that was listening to it all night last night and all morning this morning. I absolutely love Desire, True Love, and Cannons as well as the new release of Jesus Lord of Heaven. Well just about 30 minutes ago in chapel we were able to listen to Rick Muchow lead worship and Rick Warren speak to us. Rick Warren is a CBU alumnus as well as his wife Kay. Although when they attended it was CBC and very different. What he spoke about was his P.E.A.C.E. plan. This is a plan to solve the 5 biggest problems in the world. It was a very interesting plan and got me thinking a lot. To see this man, who was labeled as America's New Pastor, and what is important to him and what God has put on his heart was very interesting and I was very happy to sit and try and understand where he is coming from and how to strive to get there. To get to the point where I care about those who I have never met and are on the other side of the world and not just to care but to take action. Coming up soon is the Global Summit on Aids and the Church which some from CBU were able to attend last year and more will go this year.

Clubbin' At Victoria

On Saturday I was able to go golfing at a very nice country club here in Riverside. I played as a guest at Victoria Club. This was my first time playing a full 18 holes at a full golf course. I have hit golf balls many times at various driving ranges and have even played at a pitch and putt course but this fine Saturday I received the whole experience. This fine club which has been around since 1903 was a very elegant place with everything you could think of. The first hole having a lake just to the right of the fairway and having a group of about 15 members watching us all tee off I was very nervous about ending up in the water. However my strategy of hitting it as hard as you can paid off as I ended up just off the fairway in the rough. After playing nine holes we stopped and enjoyed lunch, which was a really awesome burger. And then we were off to the back nine in which I was fatigued and my swing began to lag. However it was a really enjoyable time and when all was said and done I shot a 115. But I would like to say I never ended up in the water and only in the bunkers twice. Each time I ended up in the sand it took me four strokes to get it out. But I was fairly happy with the way I golfed and do feel after a few more rounds, I will be able to break the 100 mark. If you want to lose at golf give me a call and we'll play.
